Megan Moloney

Co-Founder, President | CEO

Megan is the Co-founder and President of ReRootLA.  She was born in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and minors in Sustainable Environments and Spanish.

Megan is working to become a licensed architect and is passionate about resourceful design and ethical practice.  She engages these passions in her work with ReRootLA and ensures all projects meet the ReRootLA goals and mission.

Kevin Marer

Corporate Secretary | COO

Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), with minors in Sustainable Environments and City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is currently working on the path towards licensure, and his interest in sustainable design led him to become a LEED Green Associate.

Kevin hopes to focus his design efforts on community oriented and public projects where the work he does can provide change for a larger population.

Gary Jimenez

Treasurer | CFO

Gary is a Southern California native, born and raised in a first-generation Mexican-American family. He believes that design and community involvement can serve as great equalizers and impetus for positive and lasting change.

Gary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. His experience working in the Solar Energy industry for two years has produced a passion for sustainability as we transition into a time where ecological mindfulness is more important than ever.

Grace Guthrey

Marketing Director | CMO

Grace is the Marketing Director of ReRootLA and holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. 

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Grace grew up volunteering with a number of non-profits and other local and national organizations that instilled in her a passion for community outreach and serving those in need. With a degree in design and a new place to call home in Los Angeles, Grace is ecstatic to be part of a movement that will provide underserved individuals and communities with accessible outdoor spaces in Southern California.

Sareen Ohannessian

Co-Founder, Designer

Sareen, student ASLA, is a Co-founder of ReRootLA and one of our designers. Sareen holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management and Protection from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Landscape Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she has been awarded the Kluesing Fellowship.

After graduation, she hopes to become a licensed and practicing Landscape Architect in the State of California. She places an emphasis on sustainability and community engagement within landscape design and implementation.

Urenna Evuleocha

Designer

Urenna is a Nigerian-American, Spring 2020 Architecture graduate with a minor in Ethnic Studies from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She enjoys art, photography, and graphic design. She is always in search of new ways to express herself creatively, and always enjoys working with friends.

She is very interested in community-centered architecture, design, and master planning, which engages with socio-economic issues and sustainability. She is currently working as an Associate Healthcare Planner and freelancing as an illustrator, graphic designer, and photographer in Los Angeles, CA, and is excited to bring those interests and skills to ReRootLA.

Sydney Brewer

Designer

Sydney is a Los Angeles based designer and a Southern California local. She received her Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from California Polytechnic State University in 2020 after a focused study on low-income and community-centered design.

Sydney has a long history of volunteer work with nonprofits and service based groups. In addition to her work with ReRootLA she volunteers her building design services to nonprofits operating in and around her hometown. She hopes to increase access to vibrant landscapes and resources for Los Angeles residents.
